Touch up paint

[REPLIC8]

Where can I get some touch up paint for my Triton green car? I've tried my two local paint suppliers but they only do spray cans and neither can find Triton green on their systems. I need a small pot of paint for stone chips etc. I can't take the car to them for a colour match as it's not taxed.

I got a pot of Cavalry Blue touch up from these guys a few years ago, it was a perfect match to my original paint:

I did a quick search for you & they list Triton Green under Rover Group code HCH with the correct BL paint code of 230. On the homepage click on the "Touch Up Paint & Clear Lacquer Kit" link, you can search from there.

Hopefully their green will be as good as their blue!

Buy the spray paint. What I do is spray it into the lid and use a tiny modeling brush for the touch up. Easy.
Try these for the paint, I guarantee they will sort the colour.

Thanks for that, I ordered a 100ml tin from paints4u, it comes with lacquer mixed in so will hopefully blend in with the TPA paint. [:)]

Spoke to Granlyn paints last year about TPA paint. Good paint if looked after but if you're repainting a car with TPA on they stressed it must all be removed or at least covered very well with a good primer.

Hi John,
I've definitely not got any plans to paint my car, it's still looking lovely having spent all it's life in heated storage. Just needs a few chips touched in and a coat of polish.

Over here some (better equiped) car body shops are able to scan the paint and mix a small quantity and put it in spray can.

Bear in mind that Triton is a very difficult colour to match properly [B)]
