Knebworth Today ( Picture Heavy ! )

Postby john 215 » 26 Aug 2013 21:21

Hi

Went along to Knebworth House annual classic car show, due to the heavy rain on Sunday a lot more people seem to be there than other Bank Holiday Monday's in previous years.

Not the only 7 there either [8D] Not to everyone's taste at a guess but well carried out -

Another cracking set of pictures, John. Very interesting contact you made about the TR7 formerly fitted with an O series engine, hope he comes back to you with some pictures.

I can't think of the last time I saw two Shelby's together. Both are beautiful, but I'll take the convertible.

That red TR7 at the top of the pictures is wearing the Viper bodykit I believe. That's the only one I think looks good but only on a drophead and probably better in a dark colour. Paul Westerman's 'Green Monster' looks better to my eyes owing to the dark green colour.

Nice piccies John. If that owner gets in touch we want a turbocharged O Series installed and not some bog standard rubbish with no grunt! Snort.

Good to see Tony Parkes Persian aqua convertible has gone to a good home. Not sure whether to do my 1950 Chevvy pick up the same rust colour as the one pictured.

Hi Chris,

I looked at that car for 10 minutes yesterday trying to remember who it belongs to or once belonged too, now mystery solved [^] She is a long way from her old stomping ground !

Cheers John

Hi John,
Not being funny but it looks more like the Rimmer MK3 bodykit, just adapted and all smoothed over.
Not my sort of thing, but its looks like many hours of work have been put in to it.

Cheers,
Dave

Apart from the obvious wedge interest, I love the Avenger Tiger and the HSR Chevette(one on the bay for 13k today I think).
Thanks John.
