Correct decal colour for 1976 Carmine Red TR7 FHC

Wondering if the decals should be gold or silver on an early Carmine Red FHC ?

Think I would prefer gold, but was there a standard decal colour for each paint colour or could the owner choose ?

Black gets lost a bit on the dark red, and also noticed that Chris' Sprint has gold, which looks good.

I know it could be owners taste but wondered if there is a factory correct combination.

Paul, my Carmine Sprint came from the factory with gold decals(front laurel leaf aswell). I think Stevie means black for Pimento red, which is also right even though I have gold on ACG97.
