Gaz your roofless carport reminds me of a story from back in my tourist boat days.

I had just dropped a load of day trippers at Daydream island, a tourist resort island in the Great Barrier Reef Whitsunday islands. The island carpenter had just taken the door off a new shelter shed he had built on the jetty.

When he came over to the boat to cadge a cup of coffee, I asked him why he had removed the new door. His answer, well if you look you will see it has no roof yet. I'm still waiting for the tin to arrive. If the boss comes down here, with the door fitted he will think I've finished the shed. When he looks up & sees no roof he is going to say, "Can't that man ever get anything right". If I leave the door off, he'll know I have not finished yet.

Knowing that resort owner pretty well, I knew the carpenter was right.

I had a Dodge Van back in the day of shag carpeting. 5.7 V8 with 4 speed on the floor. That was rare here but not as rare as yours must be there.
Looks very Good, must be fun to drive on your roads.
