No you don't, as it looks a little less clean now,
after three trips to the Alps and 11.000 kilometers [:p]

<font size="2"><font face="Comic Sans MS">Beans, it sounds like you need to use a bidet or at least have a good wipe!
[:D]

Do they make bidets big enough to wash the bottom of a car?
Other wise you'll need a hoist and a lot of cleaning cloths.

To answer the original question, my TR7 owners guide recommends for an unbraked trailer, one up, trailer weight 495 Kg.

Braked trailer, 2 up, trailer weight 1016 Kg. If additional payload is carried in luggage etc., this weight should be deducted from the trailer weight.

They then go on to say, with additional care, braked trailers may be towed up to a gross train weight of 2680 Kg. With this weight restart gradient should not exceed 1 in 10.

Hope this helps.
