Anyone fancy TR7 as their car reg?

Still for sale at £33,000 + VAT

http://www.nationalnumbers.co.uk/options/TR_7.htm

I'm sure I have an old magazine somewhere that has a TR7 for sale around the early 1980's that includes this registration number as part of the car sale and was about £3k for both.

Cheers Paul,

1976 TR7 FHC (ACG 3115)
1977 TR7V8 3.9 FHC rally car (ACG 35005)
1980 TR7V8 3.5 DHC

I actually saw this registration on a car about 5 years ago in the midlands. It was on an Aston Martin.

My TR8 had the Victorian plate TR8 when we bought it.

Unfortunately in Oz each state has it's own registration system, so we had to hand it in when the car came to Queensland.

That plate was on dads TR7V8 before the second to last owner transfer.
The woman who sold the car to the Cambridge postgraduate who later brought the '7 with him home to Sweden
had the plate transfered to her 'other car', an Aston DB7 - and have been trying to sell it ever since I think.
When dad bought the car here in Sweden it had had its original UK plate JCG382 for a couple of years
before getting its current Swedish plates.

Here in BC it's much cheaper for personalized plates of your choice but most people opt for the cheaper collector car plates/insurance.

ICBC website:

How much do personalized plates cost?
There is a one-time application fee of $100 and an annual fee of $40 to maintain the rights to the slogan and the use of the plates.
If your plates are damaged, lost or stolen, you’ll have to pay an $18 fee for temporary regular plates while your personalized plates are remade.

Some people have too much money in their wallets.
