The yellow on my car is an original color. Prior my having it painted it was in it's original mimosa yellow from the factory. The painter simply replicated it. So the car chose the paint color not me. Changing color is way more expensive than I want to invest in this car. I would rather put the money into the mechanics to improve performance and handling.

Any early hints as to your thinking?

I would never have considered yellow as a colour for any car in the past, I guess because cars were not yellow in my youth.

However the best by far Honda S2000 I could find after a longish search just happened to be yellow. I was a bit afraid of the attention this extremely bright colour might attract, but 2 years later I have come to like it very much.

I have not seen a 7 in yellow in the flesh, but I think it might be a very good colour for one. It looks great in the photo.

Yellow isn't my favorite colour either but there were none around until a local member bought one from out of town (Inca yellow I think). When I bought my yellow TCT for $100 it was the only yellow TR7 I knew of at the time. It's Tumeric yellow (only available in 1979) a lighter yellow and so quite rare so I will keep it that colour. Most yellows on other cars tend to be deeper, brighter.
