Hi,

Hot on the heals of Billing comes TR Reg national weekend at Malvern, 9 - 11 August. Always the biggest meeting of everything TR in the world and if you have never been then worth a visit. Plan to attend all three days, so plenty of pictures to come !

They have a micro site up -

Be great to see a few of you ladies and gents there,

Cheers John

Interesting to see that they plan to fit dual controls to their TR7 Coke Car & offer a TR7 driving experience to youngsters (with a qualified driving instructor on board)!

Hi John,

Do you have to be a member of the TR Register to go along?

Cheers, Dave

No you don't.

I hope we can repeat last year and have a fantastic turnout of TR7s.

I will be there on the Sunday as well.

While having it on a Coke car would bring in some extra interest from the youngsters, they should do it on a generic car. There were only three (two now?) Coke cars they should be kept stock.

When I visited the airplane museum in San Diego, many of the airplanes were replicas as they lost the originals in a fire in 1978. It's not the same as having the real thing (to borrow Coke's advertising jingo).

Why a generic one? there is little enough of them about as all the good ones have been screwed by putting a V8 in!
For me that is why the TR7 is worthless, because everyone thinks without a V8 they are useless.

I think I was the first (could be only) person to have been for a run in the passenger seat of that car.

Hi,

Not long now [:D] [8D],

Bit of bad news in that according to there web site Steve and Rick from S & S Prep wont be there [:(] first time in twenty years, always good to catch up with them gents. If I get a decent box in the FHC ( keeps jumping out of 4th ) and get up to Gaz's Bright City Run will pop in for a brew then !

I see Alex is offering limited rides in Dianes TR7 V8 drag car for a donation to charity, form a line !

Hope see some you guys there over the weekend [8D]

Cheers John
