I remember that discussion now. The auction house estimate appears to be Â£8-12,000.

With all auction estimates, that is most likely just to get attention.

If you are interested I'm sure there will be some online bidding system available.

It looks like a nice car, but the description is too vague, and there is no way the claimed power output is correct!

I'm more curious than interested in bidding. Thought it seems like a rather low price. I suspect you're right about the auction estimates, judging from the accompanying E-type estimates. Pull the suckers in with a low estimate and let them bid it up. And as someone noted in the previous round of discussion about the car, it really needs something bigger in those rear arches.

I think its a pretty lost car, its not a competition car, its not a historic replica, only worth what someone wants to pay for it dispite having had a fortune spent on it!

If it was a proper work replica with the 4x48's, magnesium wheels, proper decals, historic spec seats, proper brakes & suspension then id say it would make more!

It doesn't say what it has for an engine. Lanocha Racing has 1,000 hp on tap from a Dart engine in their road going Group 44 TR8 replica Bullettt.

Cotswold Classic's website shows a FI 3.9 under the bonnet.

Bob Tullius ran 360 hp in his Group 44 car, detuning to 330hp for endurance events. That was 33 years ago but don't know if modern magic would make up the difference. The John Buffum works car ran less on carbs going for reliability over out right power. It does seem pretty optimistic.

I saw a photo under the bonnet and it even had the standard 3.9 injection range rover plenum. If its 220hp that's about all, if it has an all
Singing all dancing engine that claims a power output like that then they should atleast have some proof to back it up.

The first thing wrong with this car is the description, its not a replica, its a look alike. There are many cars with a few modifications which are being called replicas, this is nonsense a replica is like JDG941V, the same spec as a factory car.
