Triumphest 2013/VTR Nationals

Postby jclay (RIP 2018) » 28 Jun 2013 11:54

Hi,

Is anyone planning on attending the Triumphest 2013/VTR Nationals? We are starting to have a lot of Spiders and TR8s coming. The main hotel has been full for about 2 months now, so if you want to attend you had better hurry and find another hotel. It seems that TWOA members have already made reservations at another hotel.

I'm planning to go, but haven't made any hotel arrangements yet. Thanks for the bump; I had better get on it.

I'm going! Tried to get a room at the host hotel months ago and they had no rooms. Found a room at the Four Points Sheraton, no problem.

Looking forward to it all, my first!!

We MIGHT have an extra bed, I believe at the Sheraton. I will check and let you know.

<font color="purple">That's right, Dan. Get hopping! [;)] I am so glad to hear you are planning on coming down for Triumphest. Is Dana coming?? I need a partner in crime--or a chaperone. LOL. As Randy mentioned there are a few of us that are staying at the Sheraton. When I reserved an extra "just in case" room, the desk clerk mentioned that there were more rooms available. I believe that was on the 28th. Regardless of where you stay, it will be fantastic to see you, and perhaps Dana, again. If memory serves, we have some wineries to check out! [8D]

Monica; Dana's coming too and we're both looking forward to it a lot. I'll check the Sheraton today. We are going to take a couple days to drive down the coast getting there. Afterward, we fly off to Maine for a week from SFO, then she will fly direct back to Seattle. I'll come back to get the car after the trip.

Randy, are you bringing your car, or is it a fly in for you?

She had better be taking her car as she is picking me up at the airport! [:D]

Dan it is a fly in for me. A cross country trek from the west coast of FL is more than I'm willing to put the Spider through! Heading down to Big Sur for a few days afterwards. I would love to be able to get some great pics of my car in SF, maybe someday.

Your Spider at Big Sur (just south) will look something like this.[8D]

Unfortunately my Spider won't be seeing Big Sur. That trip will be relegated to one of Americas finest rental cars...hopefully something foreign.

FI will you be at Triumphest?

I made a hotel reservation (at the HQ hotel) for 2013 last year but will be cancelling as my 7 is in unanticipated rehab this entire season.
Hate to miss this one but it can't be helped.
We will be drowning our October TR sorrows at a beachfront hotel in Hawaii in an attempt to salvage some positive attitude.
Where's it gonna be in 2014?

I am sure Sooooomebody knows where Triumphest 2014 is being held, but they don't make it official till the banquet. You know that. [;)]
