Shawnigan Lake Show & Shine

Postby FI Spyder » 01 Jul 2013 14:15

Ron and I took our TR7's to the Shawnigan Lake Show & Shine at Shawnigan Lake Boys School (an international boys boarding school). Clear blue skies and mid to high twenties C for as far into summer as the eye can see (may as well be living in California [:p]).

There were a few other English cars there but mostly more big blocks than you could shake a torque wrench at and more chrome than any modicum of good taste would allow.

Spot the black Vette with scratch marks were a small gust of wind blew a sun umbrella across it. Good thing the owner wasn't around.[xx(]

Lots of picks if you want to see the slide show of a Canadian Show & Shine (looks like there is one to two every weekend through out the summer.

Great stuff.

I've always lusted after one of those Studebaker Golden Hawks. No idea of how good a car they are, but they are just beautiful, particularly considering their age.
