I definitely prefer the sidelights, but probably because that's what I'm used to. If I had grown up in the UK then I probably wouldn't. But, I am the type that likes to make my car look a little different than the others. I had an '94 RX7 that was beautiful, Montego Blue. It was a Touring Package so had no rear spoiler. I got a rear spoiler from Japan and the Japanese tail lights that are not available options in the US. Just loved the way it set it apart.

As for the front lenses, I do like the clear, but maybe in the spirit of originality I'd better stick with the Amber.

Don't get me wrong, I think they're as much a classic as the others, just appreciated less by the under-informed. I have experienced first hand some nasty treatment by some that think less of the 7/8, like when it comes to calling around for parts. As Chef would say..."fudge emâ€￾! I still think vie got one of the best looking cars on the road, the looks I get when driving it confirm that. Does anyone else ever feel like they're in a parade? I think over time we'll see more original parts being remade like the soon to be new visors!

Mons they should be waiting on me when I get home next week, I'll get em shipped out to you. Maybe some kind soul here will have pity on you and send you the second amber insert you'll need for a complete set! I did end up ordering a set of amber bulbs to go behind the clear part as that is required here in the US

I think the single fact that we all prefer wedges sets us apart from the pack. Around here you see very few at shows, there's only two in my local club. They never get the attention the more classic cars get, but they do bring more nostalgia than the others. People always admire the more popular models, but the wedges always bring out an "I remember those!"

Very true. I was at the Gransden (UK) airshow two years back with the TR Register. They had a collection of immaculate earlier TR's there, but more of the visitors were interested in my well used 7 than all the others.

Cheers
