I put tr7v8 into Youtube and this came up that I hadn't seen before, Mark Parsons is an amazing driver and the shove of the V8 is unbelievable.
Mark Parsons appears elsewhere on you tube with equally entertaining driving.

Amazing driver yes indeed.

Perhaps the driver was just out for a hoon. It certainly looked like the sort of thing we do around our bottom paddock, after rain, in the paddock basher.

If he was trying to go quick that would be some of the worst driving I have ever seen. Far too much wheel at turn in, then all over the place.

He would be much faster if someone took 4 spark plugs out of the thing, then restricted him to just 4Th & top gears.

I know the technique looks unorthodox (and a bit too wild in the linked video), but I don't think many would call Mark Parsons a slow driver.

Two completely different types of racing for different types of tracks, rallying and road racing. It's a wonder Kimi and Robert can do them so well but I guess that's why they get paid the big bucks.

As I said, perhaps the driver was just out for a hoon. I wouldn't keep a track slashed around the bottom paddock if I didn't do a bit of it myself.

The penalty for replacing worn out tyres in the Targa would preclude driving like that from achieving any sort of place. I would now like to see some in car video of his driving in that context.
