just wandering - has anyone attempted\know of any GRP\ABS speedster type covers for the hood storage area, like the one below:

i am sure i once saw a lotus Espirt s3 and 308GTB conversions that looked rather splendid.

Certainly be easier than trying to snap down a 33 year old slightly shrunk, somewhat stiff albeit new looking vinyl cover. Would have to figure out how to fit around my wind blocker brackets though.[:p]

wow loads of replies!![:o)] even been wandering about a 80's SL style cover would be cool, you could integrate locking hinges onto the cover....using the windblocker when needed?

I had something like that years ago on my Miata. It was a three piece cover that came apart so it would store in the trunk.
