<font color="teal"><b>As the sun was out i was doing diy in the house and i had to go into the garage today

i seen the TR sitting there looking dirty and never started since September

I switched off the battery trickle charger and put the main power switch on in the car

Yip the headlight pods started to give a lovely dance..[:D]

I ignored this ( well had a giggle) then sat in the car after the first turn of the key

it almost started and on the second turn the car fired up and ran sweet

It was a great feeling

next weekend i will take it out the garage and let it air out.</b></font id="teal">

We're getting z lot of sun as well but it's freezing out there. Ok, not really freezing a 7C, even do some painting of trim out there, but can't get to excited about starting the 7 and going for a drive. If I can't put the top down it doesn't really count. I guess our hot dry August, September got me spoiled. I've got Stabilizer in the tank and it's full to stop condensation in the tank. Just have to fill it up again if I use it. The only thing I have to do is take off the windshield finisher, strip it and repaint (spilled some brake fluid on it). I bought one of those electronic 2 amp/battery conditioners for Half price ($20) from Canadian Tire so battery will be ready to go. First sign of warmer weather though and I'll be cranking it up.

I cover the car with old bed sheets to keep the dust off but it's getting dusty with the bonnet up. It'll get a good wash, clean off wax and clay bar it, glaze and seal, carnuba wax this year.

Hi,

Nice and sunny down here too this weekend [8D] Had a private job on yesterday after work on a friend dads Mondeo so took the FHC to work and picked her up on way home, fixed the Mondeo amd went home the long way.

Today was the turn of the DHC, had not started since December, three kick of the accelerator and she burst into life, took out for twenty odd mile run with the roof down naturaly !!!

Took my drophead to halfords today for a car cover
The sun shone here also great day for a drive saw a couple spitfires enjoying the sun also tax is due end of this month on both TR's so think might tax the fhc and sorn the dhc for a couple months

Bright and sunny here today too. But 25f and 30mph wind. Thought about taking the car out but the wife had other plans. Maybe next week.

I was thinking about you lot just the other night. I was in the house, about 9.00PM, wearing just a pair of shorts, as I have been for about 5 months, when I needed a couple of tools from the shed.

I slipped on a pair of leather slippers, & wandered up there. It is only 50 yards, but I was quite cold by the time I got back.

I can’t say I was sorry, much of this summer has been a bit too hot for topless motoring. I was thinking how if we are cooling, you must be warming to your driving season again.

We softies, in our lands of milk & honey really can’t imagine having to lock our cars away for months on end, it is bad enough not having them when they are broken, without loosing them to the cold & wet as well.

Hi,

Keep mine on the road all year long, no point having them if you cant drive then ! The only time not keen on driving them is when its been snowing due to the amount of salt that get spread on the road, as the metal tends to dissolve ! , not a problem you have Hasbeen I would say at a guess !

Kept mine on the road all winter, typically a get couple of good days per month, came to work in it this morning, roof down 3 degrees C wrap up warm and with the V8 up front it's a fine way to wake up on a monday Morning.

I will probably take it off the road when the weather warms up for some body repairs! (driver door dented and one wheel arch going at bottom corner)
