Hi Phil And Toni,

As i thought great looking car [8D] Cant believe she needs much doing ?

Cheers John

Roy spent a great deal of time & effort getting the car to the fine condition you see now, with a little help from me on some of those jobs where an extra pair of hands is useful[:)] Roy's attention to detail in putting the car back together makes such a difference to the finished car.

The bodywork is as good as you would find, with an excellent paint job, & a lovely tidy interior. The clutch needs sorting out, the engine has poor compression on one cylinder I believe, although it starts & runs well.

It will be a fine & very original example of an early 4 speed car, and let's face it how many of those are left now, especially in such excellent condition?

Looking forward to seeing it around this summer.

Under the cover? I'll leave it to Roy to illuminate you all!

Thanks Tony [:I]

Nice try Gaz,it's not the Brown coupe under the cover.

I will reveal all soon enough,but I will say it's the one I've always,always wanted. [:)]

Back on topic. Because of the purchase of my special car, I decided to part with the White Coupe. This was not an easy decision, as it was my intention to own the full set of Spekes finest. The auto (you know about),the white four speed, and my early 1976 Green five speed,
all of which are rare cars today. I will be using the 1976 five speeder this year and it's currently being made ready for the road and MOT.

I know Phil&Toni are very enthusiastic about the car and becoming involved in the TR7 scene,so the hard work has been very worthwhile and another four speed car will once again grace the road.[:)]

I just hope Phil you let me have a blast up the road,it's been a long time since I drove a four speed car.

At least it is going to some one who will appreciate all your work Roy. And welcome to the forum Phil. We should all have 5 car garages.

Roy

You will be welcome to have a drive anytime. I hope we can get her finished in time for the New Forest run. Off to have the engine looked at on the 22nd Feb. A big thank you to Tony as well for all your great advise. We look forward to meeting you again soon. More pictures to follow we hope.
Now off to plan a road trip to Northern Italy later this year!

Phil & Toni.
