hi,

Its that time of year again, Rimmer Bros Winter Sale flyer fell through the door yesterday, normaly appears on there site in the next couple of days, starts on 26th January and ends 10th Feb.

Got my little leaflet today as well John, not a huge amount of stuff in there IMHO, the savings for us UK buyers on a lot of the parts appear to be roughly the same as the "No VAT" sale they ran a few weeks back.

Still, if you are looking for a part & it's in the sale then any saving is worth having [:)]

It would seem that the Rimmers sale ends on Sunday.

My 20 page Winter Sale Brochure just arrived through the post and the offer started Saturday 26th January and ends Sunday 10th February. I'm after a set of Standard Piston Rings and Big End Bearings, but as mentioned it looks like a VAT saving only, hasn't tempted me to fork out anything yet.

Paddocks have a good options on bearings at less than Rimmers price.

The water pump I have just bought from S&S is £70 cheaper from Rimmers in the sale [:0]

Totally agree,

Big end bearings from James Paddock £14.50 +vat
Piston ring set £35 +vat
And its Free delivery!
