Good idea on replacing the hose where did you get the stainless ones from?
I have replaced mine with Samco hoses but I must admit the polished s/s are quite appealing.[;)]

Put our away a few weeks ago. We were at 64 degrees F on Nov. 22, but the next day it was only about 30.

No snow yet, but will soon no doubt.

We have a nice warm shop to work in, so we hope to get some things done over the winter.

the oil cooler piping, the radiator fan shield bracket, the (long version) oil filter and some other stuff
which forced very tight curves and a twisted routing which no hose would do without flattening out...

Excellent job Odd looks great on the car I would think definitly no problems with them deteriating.

As a result of me not hibernating my cars i had a little mishap today.....
Bright sunshine clear blue sky a chill in the air (not freezing)
I decided to put the hood down...... CRACK goes the rear window in two places plastic had gone brittle oops a quick repair with some roofers flashing tape but now either need a new hood or a replacement rear window[:(]

Saw this a while back - maybe a start - maybe possible to cut out the window carefully & use velco self adhesive tape on each part to inset the new plastic which will be hidden under the hood material flap with only bottom showing ( your hood being black won't show really )or glue in new section - cheap repair for the time being & watertight ?

Does say 'frost proof [;)]

Might pay to get a supply of that for when the inevitable happens or some jealous scally takes a blade to it [:(!]
As for driving in this weather, Sunday wasn't too bad so took the opportunity to have a quick spin around the lanes near me. Not much too look at, sorry, bit boring but have stuck it on youtube if anyone fancies a gander gave me [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D] anyway lol

Thanks trek, sounds even better from outside ha ha. Will try and get a better montage of clips put together as and when time allows but certainly won't stop driving it until absolutely necessary, just grin everytime Im behind the wheel!

Morning John, yeah in the end[:)] bit of tinkering but ended up running the Red top into a swirl pot in the boot, that feeds a Bosch type injection pump,filter, then into the Malpassi rising rate regulator. Return back to tank from both regulator and swirl pot. Seems to work fine at 3-5 psi + boost. Certaily no starvation issues, quite the opposite ha ha.
Silver, have done the usual mods most choose to do with the V8 conversion, uprated the suspension, but left std springs on the rear(thought it may give it more bite into the road) brakes are Vitesse 4 pots with vented discs, sherpa servo and M/C, strut roller bearings for steering (hate to think what parking would be like without them,I'm a 6ft 17 stone rugby player and its still a bicep workout at parking speeds!!![}:)]) behaves lovely at speed though and curiously, no wobble at 55!!![:)] 15" MGF 5 spoke alloys, full blended body kit (still have to fit the boot spoiler) functioning cruise lights, Front mounted intercooler, Powermax dizzy with Lucas sports coil, 8mm leads and of course the purring Rover 3.5 complete with Janspeed turbo[:D][:D][:D]
If you do decide to go down the V8 route and why not (you pay almost half of what we do for petrol!!!!) the forced aspiration devil WILL, show his ugly face, The wedge shop have been developing an off the shelf kit....nice!
She's taken two years of fannying about to get to this point but unfortunately I work nights so have to sleep when its light and could be tinkering, half the weekends out because of sport oh and not forgetting family stuff ha ha. Been done on a bit of a shoestring budget too, what I couldnt get I made and what I had to get new I saved my sparechange for. Watched Ebay like a hawk! Those new parts I mentioned, got them delivered when my partner was out working, squirreled them away for a few weeks to get dusty then, If she asked, it was like, Oh no love, these old things, had them ages look[;)] Dont judge me, Im sure we've all done it.... or are going to now ha ha
