Footwell vents

Randy I don't think you would have to paint them, they are well out of sight down in the dark foot well.

They are so out of the way that with this old clapped body I am left with, I can not reach the one on the drivers side, as I can't bend around the steering wheel.

Would you believe, I have to stop, get out, & lean in from outside to get at it.

Don't laugh, it's coming to a body near you, some time, all too soon.

Ha! I'm realizing that I may have early on-set old farts disease. Sometimes when I get up under the dash it takes me a little longer to unfold when I get out.

After spending today fixing the heater and fitting a new stereo to my friends Triumph 2500 TC, I hope there is a special place in hell for people who design dashboards! [:D]
And the sad part about that is the dash in the 2500 is one of the better ones to work on.

if you look closely at my picture you'll see (or may be not in this picture...) my trim pieces down there are leather
(as are most everything else, visible or not visible, in my car - except for the rear of the seat backs and the rear
bulkhead trim) and I doubt Rick could find any matching pieces in their warehouse... So I HAD to do it myself.

Looks like a good colour match Odd, but still cheap if you only want the backing cards with the holes in the right place.
(must get some commision from S&S Soon)[:D].

I'm sure you will agree Odd the vents are worth having.

That's why we fitted Ted's version into dads rhd fhc TR7V8. We wanted the function
- without the hassle of finding an oem pair...

Thats exactly why i brought a set Ian, early this year won a brand new complete blue leather interior of 'the bay' at a bargain price, this also included the foot well trims so will cut them and stick onto the S & S boards.

Will put a pair in my FHC Sprint when she will be rebuilt as a rallye car.
Should be a good addition to help keep the temperatures acceptable.

The DHC has them but the FHC does not. I wish it were the other way. I do have an AC unit that I may put back into the FHC if I can find a refrigeration man to do it for not a huge amount of money.
