some long time ago I asked if anyone new of a cure for a chirping noise from the rear of my 8 only heard on overun. New wheel bearings, new prop shaft & overhauled diff had not resulted in a cure. Well now it is cured all because of a second set of eyes when fitting new break shoes. It was noted that the brake backing plate was mounted 90degrees out. This was rectified & delight delight the chirping noise has gone,[8D]
