Been away from the forum for a while, update!

Well, been a busy few weeks!

Still awaiting delivery of my quick-rack, uprated 260mm HI-SPEC brakes, and new heater matrix from S&S for the TR7V8 DHC.

Managed to sell my 'almost new' minilite style TR7 wheels to a couple from Durham (I put original steel '76 wheels back on). Both parties happy I think with the deal.

The engine rebuild on my '76 2.0l Speke is almost complete so should be back on the road very soon - maybe next month.

This week noticed a leak from my TR7V8 rally car rear axle, from the front oil seal, which seems to have gone. Turns out to be a Jag seal because it's a 4HA axle. New seal arrived so a job this weekend.

Not TR7 related but got my new Toyota GT86 this month so been spending time working on that as well. New wheels, lowered suspension, tinted windows. Nice modern alternative to the TR7!

Having changed the wheels and looked at the engineering of the GT86 I noticed how there's similarities to the TR7, not least the MacPherson struts and front suspension - although much smaller/stronger.

Turns out that a previous TR7 Register (Malcolm P) has also just bought a GT86!!

Malcolm P still around? Please give him my regards... and if he reads this, Kent-Phoenix is still alive and kicking!

Nice looking car, BTW!

The new Toyota is one of my favourites, reminds me of the 1966 2000GT(similar to James Bonds) which used to belong to one of my neighbours.
