Interior required for my Triton Green Softop

Postby Hugh » 19 Sep 2012 18:14

Guy's,

Am building up my TR7 V8 from bits I have had lying around from the last 25 years.

The car has been painted Triton green so think a brown interior would be best, but will consider your suggestions.

Does anyone have a good condition interior that they are willing to sell.

Thanks

Hugh

Agree with Stevie, either green check or black leather, which I prefer [8D]

Brown doesn't go well with Triton, to bland imho ...

Not a fan of tan interior (my Tercel has one as does Yellow TCT) but black would look good (as it does in my Spider and Integra).

To be in complete harmony with the Feng Shui, one should trim it out in saddle tan as used on the early Speke models.

I like the green tartan, as well.

Black as a fashion hue has been grossly overdone, and leather is hardly an SPCA approved seating surface.

Thanks guys,

The green check looks stunning in the photograph.

I should have said I have a black hood for the car which might look a bit funny with a tan interior.

There is a pair of black seats on ebay right now, just not sure at all.

Hi,

Zoe's old car 'Amber' had blue interior from the factory but I prefer tan and leather even better [8D]

Hi

My Triton TR8 had the tan velour and I thought it looked OK. You can't see much of it in this old photo though.

My brother has a Triton TR7 V8 which has a dark green leather interior with matching door cards, gear lever surround and so on. It has a dark green hood/soft top too which makes the whole thing look great I think. Will try to post a pic or two later if I remember.

Cheers

Graham

Graham,

Thanks for that, the cars look stunning.

I also note the LHD drive car has US bumpers, I have a new set to fit, I think they look really nice.

Be interested to see the pictures of your brothers car if you get a chance to post.

Thanks

Hugh

Have seen a few Triton cars with a Blue interior, somehow the colours seem to clash, Green with Brown interior or Black seems a more appealing mix

.. Triton with black interior I like best, beige is also OK - with green checkered being a little nervous to me and the ...

the effect of the game exterior to interor get's lost .. Triton green is for itself exciting..

.. white is a good combination to green/red check - there is a tension

What color is your dash? It looks gray in the photo. A black interior or the black/green tartan with a grey dash might look a bit strange.
