A nice looking customize

Postby nick » 11 Aug 2012 00:19

This is one of the better looking customized TR7 I've seen. Considering what this guy must have in this car, the price seems attractive. The auto trans turns me off however.

I'm luke warm on this one ....the bumper in the front is definately the best part, but the shaved door handles and taillamps are plain awful !

The front bumper is one of our Tim's, and I like it.
I don't care for the black bits painted on the bonnet.
Dunno about the shaved door handles though and the tail lights are wrong, not that I'm a big fan of the standard tail lights, but this isn't the answer to them either.

Apparently an automatic works well with V-6 as it has plenty of power but an auto in an English sports car seems like an oxymoron (unless it's an original because it then becomes rare example). Not a fan of that style front end, I like the original just fine as I do the original tail lights. This customization looks like a job half done. I've seem round tail lights with rear deck smoothed out and they look fine but these just look stuck on. Shaved doors looks like a car not finished (missing something). I've seen a nicely done custom TR7 (V-8 conversion, leather Miata Seats. leather covered dash that the owner spent $28,000 on but it was subtly done.
