TR7 Makes it on another list!

According to Edmunds, number 47 on their list:

We're in some good company there! Embarrased to say I've owned four of the cars on this list, but only one of them was the year they call out. Unfortunately the rest were later years, after I should have had time to recognize what pieces of #%&! they were! Anyone else?

There are several on the list I would love to have.

Years ago I had an 84 Fiero (#58), and I loved it. I always felt the first years of that model were great, and it went downhill from there.

My wife had a Datsun B210 (#37) when we got married, and it deserves to be on the list.

I had an '84 Chevy Cavalier and an '82 Chevy Citation as company cars. They were totally crap. The Citations transmission blew up twice in the first 12,000 miles. You would think I would have learned by that experience, but no, when I couldn't afford to fix my '80 TR7 when the head warped I bought an '82 Citation for $400. This one at least had a four speed manual transmission on the 2.8 liter V6. It was the worst shifter ever but at least the transmission worked. It was the greasiest engine I'd ever seen. All of the GM X bodied cars had leaky, greasy engines. It didn't matter if it was the four or the V6. I saw lots of them because I had to scour salvage yards frequently for parts. At least there were lots of them in the salvage yards. The '86 Dodge Caravan should have been on the list if I had my way. This was hands down the most unreliable piece of crap I've ever owned. My '62 Spitfire looked reliable compared to the Caravan. You had to shift down to 4th gear to go 60 against a head wind and I had constant electrical, engine and carburetor problems. It did have lots of room inside though.

Sorry, but anybody that lists an Ariel Atom in their worst cars list does not deserve to be taken seriously.

My first car was a 79 280zx. I loved that car! Only lasted 60 days until someone t-boned me though. [V]
Second car was my TR7 and thats going on 24 years![:D]

Wife currently has the 96 Taurus (given to us when her grandmom passed). Ugly car but definately not worthy of this list. Very reliable for sure.

Which means I CURRENTLY have 2 on the list! [8D]

I had a B210 I got for nothing, never registered it, I was going to restore it (a harbinger of things to come) but I sold the Mini Storage I had it stored in and that's the last I saw of it. I forgot about it. Probably a good thing.

Ask anyone who's driven one - these are fantastic! Usual utter marketing cr*p!
