Are you thinking of motorsport with your 7V8?
I haven't heard of a problem with the studs themselves. There's been some comments about the front wheel bearings not being man enough though ........
I've had the V8 in my 7 for over 20 years and had no issue with the studs on 14" or 15" alloys with approx 225bhp but its only been road use so far. I feel a track day beckoning..........
