The black bodyside moulding is the best option, but i´m just wondering if it could be further improved by painting the boot sill/rear wing gap also in black, you could easily try out first with a strip of black insulating tape to see how it looks.
Another option (that i've applied to my car) is to strip and polish the moulding strip that is stainless steel, gives a quality touch!
