Bromley Pageant - 10th June - Spaces available

Postby REPLIC8 » 05 May 2012 06:54

Anyone interested in displaying their car a the Bromley Pageant of Motoring? The Kent group of the TRDC have a 10 car stand to fill but we only have five cars booked in at present.
This is a massive outdoor one day car show with autojumle, trade stands etc. Entry for the public is £14 each, however if you put your car on our stand it's only £2 for car, driver and passenger.
Would be nice to fill the stand up & show our cars of to the masses, first come first served, but please only ask for a ticket if you're deffinatly going to turn up! [:D]
Looking forward to a great day out.

Hi Andy...

I'll endorse everything you've said. Bromley is too big for the TRDC to foul up! I'd even bring the Accent as a 'guest-vehicle' flashing lights, in-car video and all, except that it's booked elsewhere for the weekend.

Come on guys - it's a great day out and an opportunity not to be missed!

I find it quite hard to believe there's no one within a reasonable distance of this massive show that wants to display their car. Maybe it's just me but I thought half the fun of having a classic is getting out and socialising with other owners.
With clubs such as the TRDC just about scraping by they need all the support they can get. What could be better than a day out in your car , in the sunshine (hopefully), with a friendly bunch of TR owners & 100's of cars to look at?
Oh well, you can only ask. [:(]

Andy.... e-mail me a list of confirmed attendees - I'll see who's missing and have a ring round for you.
Might be worth ringing Wayne Walsh and the TVR-powered TR8, or even Lawrence with the Tahiti-Blue and Chrome Fixed Head!

Will try to make it, wife is checking her rota to see if I am available! Also depends on the car, have not used it at all this year yet and MOT is due around that time so needs a service and tighten up all round. I will post when I get the all clear.

Thanks Andy, are there any instructions on the entrance to use, or magic words to get in?
