What's next, a roofrack for when you only need two surfboards [;)] [:D]

The surfboards are old hire boards en-route to my house where we are putting them on eBay to make room at the shop for new ones due in. Couldn't resist the picture. Bit like the pictures of old VW transporters at work sort of thing!

Something about the TR7 and the sea.

Great picture.

Yeah - keep them well away from it! One sniff of that salt air and it will start to disappear in front of your very eyes [:p]

Car looks well. Bet adding a trailer really shows the standard brakes up mind.

There's a healthy surf following three miles from me at Saltburn. If I tax one of mine this summer I must pop down and get a surfboard pic!

The image in my avatar of the gold car is taken at Saltburn looking out to sea, but it was dusk when I took it and you can't see it that well. Must try harder....

Picture of Maple Bay (Salt Spring Island in background) part of Salish Sea (new name, part of getting rid of English names and changing back to Indian names) which is connected to Pacific Ocean. No surf here but in article in magazine (1981) on 100 best things in Canada was named the best protected sailing waters in Canada.

Found an old scrapbook I started in the 80's. I'll start a new thread for that.

This is a later pic that was loose and chucked inside for safekeeping presumably. This was my very rare UK Spec RHD TR8. I sold it in 2004/5 and was daft enough to even leave the reg number on it!

I understand that it has now been fully restored but we are still waiting for the "Reveal".

Taken something like about 10 years ago, the connection is that this is the same layby...

Steve, you wont recognise your old TR8 with its front rally spoiler and new 4.6 V8.

Yeah - with hindsight, that was a super number. But we didn't always think like that.
