As by now you will have probably found out that UFO-005 was used as a test bed for a TR7 Turbo conversion [8D]

But were there more than one built as i have read the turbo development car was black and this was british racing green

Remember the Prime Directive....not to interfere with a civilization. Obviously some one slipped up and the TR7 was born.

The turbo conversion was an Australian BL dealer option, so not an official car.

Or was this plate just for hype/press and not for official road use

here it is says its black with the ufo plate then the report one says BRG with the same plate just wondering if they were the same car
