I know this topic has come up before, but I'm thinking of striping my Canley built TR7 DHC. I never used to be a fan of O.T.T stripes but now on a 70's / 80's car they look quite retro. I'm keen on originality and have looked at some of the striping kits that were supplied with the vehicle when new, mostly to exported vehicles. These range from quite tasteful to bizarre, by far the most bizarre I have seen are on the TR7 supplied to Road and Track for their September 79 publication. I quite like the Jubilee stripes and they certainly look good on the yellow FHC on e bay recently. Not too sure how they would look on my Pharaoh gold convertible though, and the way the sweep over the top of the bonnet might not suit the more conservative styling of the DHC, and I think I would omit the huge TR7 lettering below the rear cruise light. I also quite like the shadow striping kit, not readily available, but probably relatively easy to copy. Also not sure how NOS would stand up to use, after all, they may have been in a paper bag, but the adhesive is still around 30 years old. Anyone have any suggestions or advice? Regards, supercass
