Camber bar ( Beans & MrPotatomoto )

Postby Reddragon » 04 Dec 2011 12:44

The question I have is:

"does the camber bar that has been shown in other posts do away with the front roll bar?"

If so what effect does this have on the roll of the front suspension?

Does the camber bar now mounted to the frame give the same resistance to roll as would the front sway bar ( roll bar ) ?

If the above is correct: then would size of or thickiness of the camber bar play in to this as does the sway bar?

Thanks.

Don't know what you mean with camber bar?
Are you referring to either the TCA,
or a compression strut or a tension strut?

I am in no way a suspoension tech, I only know enough to screw myself, but the car I took the other pictire from has a later picture with a sway bar mounted

so, no it does not replace the sway bar, it is just another way to adjust and rigidify suspension.

Here is a link to the blog im getting the pictures from,http://www.sillbeer.com/blog/category/suspension/P0/

I still need to do measurements, but I think it might be interchangable with minor fabrication
