You.....yes you! All of you! It's all your fault! You all live too far away![:D]
I find it very frustrating trying to help out with the problems of your cars over the internet when if i had the car before me I could use my technical knowledge, gut instincts, and a shed crammed full of all sorts of wondrous tools and equipment to diagnose, treat and/or prescribe a solution in minutes. So I'm afraid you'll all have to move here to Melbourne Australia and bring your cars with you! [:D]
Seriously now, I'm not complaining, I'm merely making an observation.
I can feel the frustration of many of you out there trying to make sense of your car and why it wont do as it's meant to do!
I and I'm sure others here feel the same frustration in finding it difficult to diagnose problems from afar. We do really want to help.
The problem due to the tyranny of distance, is the very clue as to what's wrong may not be relayed to us because the symptom may not be noticed or even thought relevant by the person seeking advice. It can be difficult to verbilise the symptom, it can be difficult to verbilise the diagnostic technique and indeed the cure!
When If we had the car in front of us,to see hear etc. it would so be much easier.
I guess it's just a sign of modern times, but I'm sure no one want's to go back to the bad old days before the internet and this what would have to be the best car forum anywhere existed! How much more frustrating would it be having to go through this all alone? [:0][:(]
So here's to Clay, Hasbeen, Marko, Beans, Mildred and others far too numerous to mention (we'd be here all bloody day) To all those here who are prepared to suffer frustration in order to help out with advice, I offer my admiration, respect and thanks
