Gotta Love It! Wedgucation!

Postby trekcarbonboy » 24 Oct 2011 13:26

I was talking to one of my patients a few weeks ago and he was excited to tell me that he was on the search for a TR6. He said he wanted a 6 because they had the classic LBC styling and where faster then a 7. Of course the 7's early reputation was on his mind also. So after informing him that the Wedge was the best handling TR and if he wanted fast the TR8 was the way to go. At the end of the conversation I said I'd keep my eye out for a 6 for him. Then at this weekends rally one of the guys asked if anyone was looking for a 6! It couldn't be that easy could it. So I got the guys info and called my patient this morning with the good news. When I asked how his TR6 search was going he said it was actually over. He appreciated that I was looking for him but HE ALREADY BOUGHT A TR8! [:D][:D][:D] I was grinning ear to ear! He said it was due to our conversation and he just happened to be talking to a client of his that was selling one. He's only had it for 2 weeks but already loves it! Of course! Car is in great shape. FI California car and he got it for $6500. He's already been talking to Woody about upgrades. I can't wait to see it. He's bringing it by soon.
I am a proud WEDGUCATOR! [:D][:D]

My friend finally brought his car by so I could check it out. Very nice TR8. Been telling him about the forum so he should be on here soon. Here's a few pics.

Very nice car.

I build the wood dash kits / overlays that Woody sells, and I did that one.

It's cool to see your handy work pop up every once in a while (Sorry if anyone thinks this is advertising, but it really did make my day to see it in someone else's post).
