What type of connectors to use

Postby tr7sprint1 » 21 Sep 2011 16:31

For the guys who have changed their connectors to the sealed type. I'm slowly restoring my 7 and have the whole harness out and would like to make some improvements to it.

Could you inform me on what type you used and where at on the harness?

Yes, that looks right. I do want to use the connectors on the harness wherever they would be exposed to moisture.

So what type or brand?

I have all kinds of weather pack and metri pack connectors.
All different size terminals too.
I LOVE em.
Just put a couple more on my 6.
One for the dual O2 sensors and a multi gang connector for the coil

I've seen these locally in the US at Advance Auto Parts. We don't really have many auto parts places here, but I'm pretty sure Pep Boys and places like that would have them. Personally I would look online, it's possible you may find a better deal or even bulk discount.
