Custom wheel question

I am thinking about getting a set of 15" by 7" wheels with a 25mm offset for my TR8 with standard length springs. I am planning on running 205/50x15" tires.

Anyone had any experience with a similar setup?

I have the same sized wheels and tires, but I have springs that are approximately 1" lower than stock. They fit well, no problems rubbing anything that I'm aware of. I found that the lowered (but stiffer) springs actually give me better clearance over speed bumps and such, as while the stock springs rode higher, they were so soft that it was a problem.

I would say that most, if not all, of the people with 15's are running those tires.
If your springs are original they are probably shorter than the 1" lower new ones

I relaced the springs about a year ago so ride height is OK. Mostly I am afraid of the extra wheel width and if the offset is correct.

I currently have 205-13" on the car and they fit fine.

As I said , Ed. Should be fine as most of us have that size.
I plan on going 8" in the rear soon
