Ok decision made - definitely going to Billing.

Just got off the phone to Billing reservations. Got the discounted rate, but only just - apparently one is supposed to book week in advance to qualify...!

So I will chuck the tent and my son in the car and aim to get there late morning.

Note to self - Don't forget to pack the Leffe.[:D][:D]

Hello everyone'
Got back home at 7:30pm, came off M1 at Junc.17 (masses of 'stop lights' ahead, Silverstone queues?) Shot up the A5, not a vehicle in sight!!. Used the 'A' roads most of the way! 328 miles on the trip. I just did'nt want to stop driving!! These cars are just FANTASTIC!!, I was in TR7 Heaven!!
Really enjoyed the 'National', arrived at 9:30am, first fixed-head in the line!, great breakfast at the garden centre, helped to judge the cars (HARDEST BIT OF THE DAY!) too many excellent one's!!!! Had a shandy in the marquee, then went on that fabulous run. Burbling V8's, smoking tyres and lovely old 'choking' petrol fumes!!! Brill!!! Wow, did we turn some heads!! My lad loved it!!
Bought my 'souvenir' 'T' shirt, won a medal for the TR7, had a great time talking to other TR7/8 owners. Perfect day out!!

THANK YOU TO ALL INVOLVED, A TRULY GREAT TR7 & TR8 TRDC NATIONAL!
Regards Stuart & our Nick (fixed-head)
