I was'nt worried about the car, the temp was fine, I think the fixed head 'cab' is so small it just gets really warm in there on a hot day! We were on the motorway and the missus does'nt like the sun-roof open!

I'm there early Sunday, (must have my breakfast first) but then, if anyone needs any help with anything, I really don't mind helping out!, as long as I get a bit of time off to see all the cars.

Also, I've had what sounds like a really good 'tip-off' about a TR7, which is for sale, but there is 1 man in front of me, so might not get a shot at it. If anything unfolds I'll let you know!!!!
See you all soon, fixed-head.

I've just received my CCM paper through the post, it has a great picture of Chris Turner with the 2 Coca Cola cars at Tatton Park!!..............more publicity for the great 'wedge'!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers fixed-head.

PS these papers are given free at most shows & autojumbles, look out for July issue.
PPS Classic & Sportscar Mag. also had their man at Tatton on the TR7 stand, look out for their 'write up' too, not out just yet.

I'll see if I can get some CCM's to bring to the national, I'm sure everyone would like a copy!!

Stuart can you get me qa copy of CCM, I remember doing the interview but wasnt sure which magazine it was.
Great exposure for the club in the new issue of Triumph World.
Good news today is that my son Robert has got classic car insurance on OEV 7P(ACG 97) possibly the oldest UK spec production TR7 still on the road, it will be at Billing on the Saturday and Sunday.

No Billing for me this year (again) as the budget decision this year has been to spend money driving the car fast rather than dragging it slowly! Wish I was coming though, hope you all have a good time, the weather is improving for the weekend and wish I was going!

Jim & Chris,
I also saw that great write-up in Classic & Sportscar Magazine, another fantastic bit of publicity for our great cars! (August issue)

The extra copies of CCM I got for Billing, my wife thought they were for our American car show last weekend, she put them out in the marquee, they were all gone by lunch time on the Saturday......women!!!! I'll try to get a copy for Chris for this weekend!
Cheers Stuart (fixed-head)
PS still might have a chance on the MINT dhc, still waiting for the gentlemans decision, tell you all about it on Sunday!
