New top

Postby Spectatohead » 02 Jul 2011 05:09

I got a new top for Father's Day. I started fitting it today. I had to order black plastic snaps because the top came with metal ones. I wasn't sure I'd like the tan color instead of the original black one. I think it looks pretty awesome though. Hey my green paint isn't original either.

looks fantastic, the beige really pulls the green out of your car, great choice!!

btw, last time someone in our local "club" fitted a new roof to his TR8, it took him over a year to actually put it back down!!

Lighter beige goes good with brighter green, tan with darker green, black with lighter greens. Shampoo that engine bay and you'll be hard pressed not to win something at this years Portland ABFM.

Thanks everyone. Now I'll feel like I can go somewhere when the weather is threatening. The interior is still a mess and it may be a couple years before I can tackle it. Baby steps. [8D]
