Pictures From Haynes Yesterday

Postby john 215 » 27 Jun 2011 20:36

Hi,

Went along to Haynes village 100 yesterday, bl88dy hot 90+c.

Cars ranged from 1913 to 2011 ( Audi R8 V10, road tax a wopping £1000 [:0] ) A total of 180 cars and bikes

Road run was 3 laps of 3 miles, resulting in lots of worried temp gauge watching drivers !!

Only 7 'in the village ' [:(] A nice touch was a pro photographer taking pictures on the day including the road run

A few pictures-

That's a nice Fern Green MkI Capri... but I think it may be wearing the wrong wheels!

Looks like a great show, I was booked in as no.97 so wouldn't have been too far from you. Had to give it a miss due to car problems. I'll try again next year, hopefully it will be cooler, 90+c is a bit hot for me!! [8D]

Some nice pics there and some nice cars, I really should sort myself out and get to this event one year it's only just down the road from me but I seem to keep missing it!
