That last Java Green 1977 car is Stuart Fairwood's TR7 V8. He's been area coordinator for the Herts group for many, many years. I think he's had the TR from new so it's a well looked after member of the family.

Good to see this event was a success despite the weather not being that great oop north.

John, the weather was not too good on Sunday but excellent on the Saturday, we had to shelter from the sun. Stuart Fairwoods car is called Kermit and he has owned it since new.

Sorry I had to miss this event as I moved house the weekend before and just had so much to do and just couldn't spare the time.

Some great looking cars on show and some of Speke's finest stealing the show for me.

Will hope to make the next one !!

Should be at Billing for the whole weekend this year too make amends.

Thanks Jim,
Thats a good photo of mine, you can just make-out the dealers name on the number plate 'reads of cheadle', near Stockport, now a kitchen specialist.

The neighbour of the original owner came over at the show, he recognised the car and told me how much and how well his neighbour used to look after the car, always working on it or cleaning it! (just like me)

Looks like a few java green coupes have survived judging by the pics! I love the dark red one Chris owns that turned-up on Sunday.

I still can't believe how many turned-out! It was fantastic!!
Cheers fixed-head
