replying to B,ham TR7, Ruddy & Stanin grimsby.
Camping from 10:00am Friday (in the walled area near to TR display) Quite a few TR7 people camping/ motorhome-ing, loads of other Triumph Clubs people camp too. some leave cars on stand others park near their tent at evening time.
Vans & trailers are usually parked either on public car park, which is inside the park and closed to the public from 7:00pm, or some park under the trees at the back of the show ground, in 25 years at Tatton Park there has never been a trailer or vehicle stolen!!

Sorry if you have tried to phone me, my phone gets hammered on show set-up week, and finally died at lunch time-ish......Thank Goodness!!
See you all there! fixed-head. PS any worries? Tel.07915 221 737.
Tatton Park is a fantastic place and a great venue for the car show, all the car owners come from all over the UK and are ALL lovely people! They come back year after year!!!!

Well I am gutted, went to see the car at the bodyshop today and unfortunately it isnt going to be ready this side of the weekend, perhaps my own fault for being a bit picky and pointing a few things out.

I will still be down at Tatton on Sunday and hope to put faces to names, is it ok to drive my Golf while wearing BL shirt [:D]

All the best, Paul

Paul, its a shame your car wont be there, I imagine you will be welcome in any car or shirt. I know how you feel as a stone came off the back of a lorry and hit the front of the Coke car opn the M1 today. Ive touched it in for now, will have the front panel painted in the winter. So all being well will bring it to Tatton on Saturday.

Chris, I'm convinced fresh paint attracts chips and scratches !!

I suppose the next big TR gathering after Tatton will be Billing ?

Hope its out of the paint shop [:(]

Anyway i will take my AA card and be on my wat tomorrow, really looking forward to meeting you all.

See you there,
Stan.

Our tatty 7 will be making it's way to Knutsford tomorrow. Setting out sometime early afternoon to get there 4ish.

If you see us broken down please wave! We don't even know what route we're taking yet.

Currently only have random loss of indicators and a stuck petrol cap to worry about. It's probably the best it's ever been!!!

I may even wash it...

(And can I borrow a cigarette lighter socket as otherwise our airbed will be a little flat - ours don't work!)
