Lincolnshire Meets

Postby SimonO » 30 Jan 2011 10:43

As well as a forum lurker, TR7 DHC owner and a brand new TR Drivers Club member, I am also the area organiser for the Lincolnshire Area of the TSSC.

We meet at The Centurian in North Hykeham (next to ASDA), Lincoln on the first Wednesday of the month at 8.00ish. Next meeting 2nd Feb.

I'd like to invite all Triumph owners to our meetings and events - and I promise we won't try and make you join the TSSC! It'd be nice to get some more TR7s seen out and about.

Contact me via wedge@simonoliver.net

Come in any vehicle and join in!

Simon, we could arrange for our Yorkshire TR Drivers club group to come to one of your meetings when the weather gets a bit warmer.
We also have a fish and chip run to Cleethorpes in April.

Chris - Count me in for the April Chippy run - although will probably join up nearer the destination!!! I'm sure Staningrimsby will be ready to show off his new sprint engine by then...

Can you add me to your events postings and I'll send you our calendar as soon as it's ready?

Our main event is the first weekend in September when we have a camping weekend in Woodhall Spa. Last year we had about 20-odd Triumphs going to cleethorpes light railway. Everyone is welcome!

I'm looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible at Tatton.

Your right Simon the sprint engine should easily be in by then but i don't normally put her back on the road until the 1st May, so April is a bit soon for me im afraid.[:(]

But i am very interested in joining the TSSC.[:D]

I'm hoping to get a few TR7s at our Lincs TSSC meeting on Wednesday 1st June at The Centurian, North Hykeham, Lincoln.

This is just before the Tatton show, and hopefully there'll be my TR7 DHC (Standard), Stan's newly-sprinted FHC and Sliders V8 DHC.

We're happy for anyone to join us regardless of vehicle or club membership.

Also, please note the Boston Langrick Cafe meets (Officially TSSC South Lincs but most people are just local classic car/bike fans). These are a sort of Goodwood Breakfast Club thing - which is well attended by all marques.

And finally, join us at our camping weekend - first week in September - either for the full weekend or just for our annual run on the Saturday!!!
