It is amazing how much better looking the TR7 is in standard trim and these photos really illustrate that point. I think as time has gone on the styling has improved with age. Again, just my opinion but one I think more of us are coming around to. This doesn't mean I don't like the modified cars, I do. But having said that I never liked the last of the line Grinnall with the Volvo front light clusters and the Ford rear light clusters. It would take a major effort and a lot of money to put those cars back to standard bodywork.

i like the idea of the smoothed in bumpers, but whether down to my love of custom cars where they blend in the panels or the fact i'm "used" to them on modern cars i would not like to say, i also like a nice shiny car but afraid mine will be matt..... sorry "satin" black for a while,

and lloyd, my pleasure, your car was looking very good that day, shame you weren't there to pop the bonnet for the engine shot when i saw it, was going to call you as you drove out but no way you would of heard me....[:D]

ah that explains the mint green ones tr8 badge on the back, was chatting to the owner and he had only recently bought it and didnt mention it being a grinnal, were you there wayne?
