Adjustable front suspension legs

Has anyone tried these S&S front suspension legs with adjustable spring seats? Seems like they might be just the ticket for getting the "right" height:

You can have them made using some coil over conversion parts. It makes more sense then doing the exchange and shipping.

Intrested in them myself, Steve also lists rear arms with a lowered spring mount -

The ready-made ones from S&S interest me because my car lives in a different state than I do. I need something that I can just pop in the car during a short trip to Portland. My agreement with the owner of the garage where I store it (who happens to be my 89 year old mother) is that the car will be mobile at all times, because she has her house for sale. I can't leave the car disassembled for any period of time while somebody modifies my pieces. There is a photo and reference to the S&S pieces in the "Improving the TR7 TR8" book.

Craig,

I suppose if I continue to pay rent, they may not mind. I suspect if the house sells, I'll have to find another place for the car. It's really been a way to give my mother a little money without her feeling she is getting a handout.

It's indeed fairly simple, just make sure you get the diameter of the threaded sleeve correct ...

This does look similar to the photo you sent, but that one didn't use a standard Wedge spring.

Beans,
Does this one use a standard diameter Wedge spring? Are you using these on your car? Is there any limit to how much you can lower it without clearance problem with the tire?

I used this as part of a complete front strut change, including a built in roller bearing at the top.
And I used "standard" 2¼" competition springs ...

Worked pretty well but at (high [:I]) speed and bad road surfaces they eventually hadn't enough suspension travel for my liking so I went a bit further ...

As for the clearance at the wheels, that depends completely on what wheels and tyres you're using.
Bear in mind that with wider tyres space is rather tight ...

But you can use the standard or aftermarket TR7 springs and upper spring seat together with the adjustable lower sping seat.

Beans, a couple of Qs:

Can you give us more details on the revised strut tops?
Have you fitted the rear coil-overs yet?
Would you also share spring lengths and ratings?

I contacted thye manufacture of your set up but the UK distributor were not exactly helpful [:(]

I imagine the body require strenghtening around where the coil overs mount at the top ?
