Robsport Today

Postby john 215 » 20 Apr 2011 21:25

Hi,

Took a drive up to Robsport to have a brew and pick some parts up. Simon has had bumper time selling all but a couple of the '7' s he had in stock. This can only be a good thing for all concerned. Workshop was busy with a replica TR7 Sprint having a fuel tank fiited and other cars waiting to be started.

A few pictures -

I must visit them some day just to look and drool, maybe next year.

Also, these guys are always great on postage, they really try to help overseas buyers (unlike Rimmers who use postage as a profit centre and make overseas buyers pay heaps).

I really must vist Robsport one day,

I order everything from them now even though Rimmers is only 30 miles down the road, the after sales service, general knowledge of the staff etc is appauling and i don't find them very helpfull either. They seem to be more intersted in the business now than they are the cars and there owners [:(].

I have met both Steve and Simon from S&S and they are a lovely pair of chaps.[:)]

I use Robsport (and I'm about 20 mins from Rimmers) as they are so much cheaper and actually help you get the right part - and they're good value. Well worth a trip down there to say "Hello".

I bought my 7 and some bits from S&S - and they've been really good too.

Hi Simon,

You cant beat the personal touch you get from either Robsport or S + S IMHO. You are not talking to a order taker but someone who knows our cars and do you get a free cuppa at Rimmers, i dont think so !!

Just looked at your blog, didnt realise you was a BL / BMC day, good event.Hopefully will held again this year.

The BMC Rally is on August 7th this year. My brothers just got his booking form through. Hope to be there in the TR8 this year. [:)] Mind you, I'm taking my son to see Iron Maiden at the O2 Arena the night before so I might be a bit headachy! [:D]
