Yup, it was same here. Fired up the Spider for first time this year for a spin. Going down the road on the other side of town I saw a white TR7 with top down in drive way I hadn't seen before. I pulled a u turn and parked if front of house. There was a for sale sign on it and owner was there. He owned it for 12 years and was selling it for space, the spot in the garage and the lack of places for his two kids. He had a truck, a VW station wagon, and a Chevy muscle car. No rust, stock, had a period Alpine radio, extra set of tires and wheels all in good condition. Red check panels but seats were redone in black vinyl. Build date April '79. Not much work needed to make it look good. Mostly cleaning. Didn't know how much to ask for it. Told him starting point should be $2,500. Some one could get it for less I think. 69,000 km. Talked car stuff with him for a while. A Brit expat.
Interesting day. Still clear, supposed to cloud up tomorrow but I hope rain stays away so I can get my muffler put the Spider.
Picked up my two trailing arm bushings for Integra for $184.00 Glad my TR7 parts aren't that expensive.
