It's MOT'd and ready to go!!

Postby REPLIC8 » 12 Mar 2011 16:20

After 2 years rebuilding in the garage I've finally got the TR8 MOT'd today. Passed with no problems. [:D]

Here are some pics of the finished underside and a couple of it out in fresh air at last. Just got to wait 'til April to get some tax & then take it out for a decent drive. [:D]

replic8,

Looks very nice it a shame you can't make it to the Tatton Park TR7/8 day see event section.

Hope to see your car at the TR Drivers National at Billing Aquadrome on the 8th, 9th & 10th July.

Lastly hope you have been in contact with Phil Hoyle & Dave Williams so you can show your car off on the TR Drivers Kent & Essex event

The rear fogs were done before i got it. Apart from them being made in Japan I've no idea what they're from, but they do look nice! [:)]
I've got Billing in my diary & it's also booked in with the Kent/Essex group for the Bromley Pageant & the Enfield Pageant.
Hoping to get out & about & meet a few people this year, Tatton park is a bit of a long way for a first trip, but maybe next year.

Car looks fantastic! I always love seeing pics of the underside when they look that good.
One question though, why are the front wheels on rollers? Is that how they test the brakes?
