If you are going to put stiffer springs on, then i would say uprated shocks would best match them. Standard ones are likely to overheat and not do their job. Matched sets would be the best advice.

I'm about to go back to the orignal springs, I find the ride a little too firm.

I wasn't really happy with the front, ride was ok but didn't lower as expected. It will have had polybush through out and new shocks, the orignal front had lost all resistance.

Go for uprated or adjustable dampers, I fitted gaz a djustables and 200lb 2" lower springs, I found the rear springs too short, it kept crashing through to the bumpstops which threw it all over the road, I replaced them with ones a coil and a half longer which only lowered it a inch or less but work much better.

I currently have the uprated lowered springs, Avo shocks rear which I dont recomend - noisy and bottom out too early, will be fitting KYB, fronts have uprated springs which are dont lower enough with KYB shocks.

Ideal would be progressive rate springs but these dont seem available these days. I have now decided the standard height doesn't look that bad anyway.

I know Beans, we have been here before and I will junk the AVO as soon as I can. I trust KYB are short enough, didn't think Koni were still available.

Front springs are listed on Koni Canada/USA website but no prices on rears. Triumph not listed on other country websites.

Maybe Beans can find a stash of NOS shocks in the motherland.[8D]
