Good thing about not using a car is that it doesn't cost you much money [;)]
Hopefully things change soon so you'll be able to put her back on the road and use her again.

We'll call it your "Back by popular demand" tour.

Owning an English car is like looking after a small child. They require constant attention, leak everywhere and as soon as your back is turned your wallet gets flushed down the toilet.

Hello Zoe, good to hear from you again. I`m off the road as well at present because I cannot get the cylinder head off.

Good luck for the future.

Yah..I concur you don't want to get rid of it in exchange for some quick money. We've all done it with one vehicle or another and we all regretted it later. (Wish I had my 1952 Hillman Station Wagon back and my 1968 Triumph motorcycle).[:(]

Great pics, FI Spyder, and a stunning bike. But, I'm sorry to say that I think the bike in the pic isn't a 1968. Perhaps a typo? [:(]

Triumph changed over from pre-unit engines to unit construction in 1963. Prior to '63, the engine case and transmission cases are separate pieces, connected by a also-separate chain case enclosing the primary drive, like big-twin HDs. After '63, they are all cast together (still leaked, mind you.) I've seen some pre-units with 1964 registrations, but none past that date.

You could be right. I did a google image search and that was one of the first that came up that said 1968(it must have been miss labeled). I replaced it with the right one I believe. It's got the correct black tanks. It was a single carb. That year the 650cc was the Daytona and the Tiger was 500cc. They kept changing the names around depending on the year. Don't know why they did that. Why did I sell it. The foolish things we do in our youth. I don't know if I have any original pictures still. That was a long time ago and many moves since and the wife probably has thrown out any picture of it and any girlfriends of the time away long ago[:p].
