welcome to the forum! a great sort of gearheads on this site;wisecrackers notwithstanding![:0] (makes it more entertaining) most are from UK,USA, & Australia. I'm in n.e. Ohio, between Akron & Canton. feel free to scrap your air injection pump- it's gonna seize up anyway, if it sits too long[:0] hows your water pump??[8] that seems to be a rite of passage for TR7 owners!

Yeah, I had to satisfy my tinkering itch one day and all the emissions stuff came off as well as the AC pump and lines.

@beans: Aside from the ridiculous "sporty"paint job and the "aerodynamic upgrades" the car is bone stock. The only rust is on the underside of the trunk space. Not bad, we'll just nick out a square and tac a new one in it's place.

Welcome to the forum, a wealth of information available here.
I am a member of the Detroit Triumph Sportscar Club, you may want to consider joining, there are a lot of resources through the club:

I live north of detroit and have many parts, if you are looking for something specific, let me know and I'll look through my stash.

@ Bill: Thank you for the info and invitation. I'll probably be back in MI within the next week and I'll want to get cracking on the car with what little time I have. The TR7 stock parts I'll be hunting for are a soft top replacement, rear under pan (where the spare tire was kept), seats (don't have to be stock, just have to fit), and maybe various other bits.

I will be parting out the engine at some point so same goes for you or anyone else for that matter. Gutting it is the first order of business.

the angle of the picture makes the air pump look like its behind the fan.

I've been on this forum almost two years and never knew there was ANYONE in Michigan except me. Now I find out there is a Detroit Triumph group... honest, I haven't had my head in the sand.

Although I must say, Detroit is like a different planet from Cheboygan, MI.
I'll look into the forum.
